ALLERGEN POLICY & INFORMATION

Brooklyn Pizza & Co. LTD is committed to providing clear and honest allergen information so that guests can make informed choices. Due to the nature of our catering and street trading operations, all food is prepared in environments where allergens are present.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

We cannot guarantee that any food item is completely free from allergens.

Guests with severe allergies should take this into consideration before consuming our food.

NUTS

We operate as a nut-free caterer, however we cannot guarantee that our suppliers do not handle nuts. There is a risk of cross-contamination and traces of nuts may be present.

GLUTEN

We do not offer gluten-free food.

All pizza dough and many of our ingredients contain wheat (gluten).

DAIRY

Our standard pizzas and many menu items contain milk and dairy, including mozzarella and other cheeses.

Vegan cheese is available for events if ordered in advance, however it is prepared in the same environment as dairy products.

MEAT & ANIMAL PRODUCTS

We serve pork, chicken and beef.

Halal options may be available depending on the menu selected and must be requested in advance. Cross-contamination may occur.

ALCOHOL

Some ingredients and sauces may contain alcohol, including wine vinegar or alcohol-based flavourings.

SESAME & MUSTARD

Sesame seeds and mustard may be present in some ingredients, sauces or toppings.

SULPHITES

Some ingredients such as pickles, olives, vinegar and preserved meats may contain sulphites.

FISH & SHELLFISH

We do not handle fish or shellfish in our trailer, however some third-party or pre-prepared ingredients may contain traces.

EGGS

Eggs are used in some products, including mayonnaise and sauces, but are not used 

in our pizza dough.

CROSS-CONTAMINATION

All food is prepared using shared equipment, surfaces and kitchens, both in our trailer and off-site.

Cross-contamination between allergens is always possible, even where care is taken.

MENU VARIATION

Menus vary depending on the event, package and catering style selected.

As we offer more than just pizza, allergen content will differ from event to event.

HOW TO GET ALLERGEN INFORMATION

Allergen information for your event or menu is provided in advance.

At live events and street trading, signage will advise guests to speak to a member of staff, who can provide allergen guidance.

Guests with allergies must inform our team before ordering or consuming food.
